THE OFFICE of the Federal Member confirmed they have received more than 100 entries from eager photographers showcasing the natural beauty and vibrant spirit of the region. After extensive deliberation, a panel narrowed the massive field down to just four exceptional finalists. The power has now shifted entirely to the public to select the grand prize winner.

 

Ms McBride, who grew up in Wyong and remains an active community member, expressed her excitement over the sheer volume and quality of this year's submissions. "We received more than 100 entries in this year's Dobell Card Photo Competition, and the quality was incredible," McBride said. "With so many outstanding photographs, we had the tough job of narrowing it down to our top four finalists. Now it's your turn to help choose the winner!"

 

The stakes are high for the remaining contestants. Beyond the prestige of having their work printed on thousands of seasonal cards distributed across the region and parliament, the winning photographer will also receive a custom canvas print of their photograph to commemorate the achievement.

 

The four final photographs highlight different coastal and cultural elements that define life on the Central Coast. Community members can view the shortlisted images and submit their votes directly online through the official portal.

 

Time is running out for locals looking to make their voices heard. Voting officially closes this Friday, 30th October 2026. Ms McBride extended her gratitude to everyone who participated, thanking them for sharing their "beautiful view of the Central Coast" and wishing the final four candidates the best of luck as the deadline looms.
