PARKRUN is free, fun and friendly - positive, welcoming and inclusive, and there is no time limit and no one finishes last.

Parkrun is a weekly community health event that runs every Saturday morning. They happen in over 30 countries around the world, with 500+ locations in Australia.

Pioneer Dairy parkrun started in 2021 – hosted by Central Coast Wetlands/Pioneer Dairy - but had to pause a year later due to access issues.

Finally, after a resurfacing of the main driveway and a new agreement, the parkrun event is restarting on 5th April!

The Lions Club of Wyong have offered to run a bacon and egg roll BBQ on the morning of the re-start.

The parkrun event is for walkers, joggers and runners, and although the events are called ‘parkrun’, each event has someone (a volunteer) nominated to be the parkwalk person and accompany any walkers.

All parkrun courses are 5km in length.

Whilst most events are run on council pathways, Pioneer Dairy is (i) not council managed, and (ii) is 95% on grass pathways and trails. So, it’s a lovely natural experience!
