Lakeside creativity unleashed

The Central Coast’s vibrant creative spirit will be on full display on Saturday 7 November as two of the region's premier artistic hubs join forces for a major community showcase. The Tuggerah Lakes Art Society has partnered with the Central Coast Watercolour Society to host a massive Festival Market, at The Entrance Complex in Norberta Street.

SET against the stunning lakeside backdrop of the Tuggerah Parade Foreshore, the special collaborative event will kick off at 9:30 AM. It promises to transform the popular parkland into a bustling haven for art lovers, families, and casual weekend browsers alike.

The partnership marks an exciting milestone for the local cultural landscape. Attendees will have a rare opportunity to view and purchase original, high-quality works directly from the region's finest watercolourists, painters, and multimedia creators. From delicate, translucent landscapes to bold contemporary local statement pieces, the sheer variety of art on display reflects the diverse talent thriving across the Central Coast.

Beyond the dedicated fine art showcases, visitors can immerse themselves in a sprawling market atmosphere featuring more than 120 unique stalls. Curated to celebrate all things handmade and boutique, the marketplace will offer an array of artisan crafts, bespoke fashion, locally designed gifts, and eco-friendly products.

To complete the festival experience, the day is part of the Lakes Festival that promises to be a vibrant and enjoyable day celebrating local artists, makers and the wider community.

Organisers have designed the event to be entirely community-minded. The market is completely family-friendly and welcoming to four-legged friends, provided dogs are kept securely on a lead.

With beautiful spring weather on the horizon, a huge turnout is anticipated along the foreshore. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to secure street parking and enjoy the best pick of the unique artworks on display. Whether you are looking to invest in a beautiful new piece for your home, hunt for early Christmas gifts, or simply enjoy a coffee by the lake, Saturday’s Festival Market is set to be the ultimate celebration of Central Coast creativity.
