THE accident at Peats Ridge involved local resident Matthew Hall - a father of four little children.

Matt Hall, who was was seriously injured in the accident - an accident that was not his fault - was driving home from work on the Tuesday morning.

Mr Hall was trapped in his truck, before being air-lifted to John Hunter hospital where he remains in a very critical condition.

Matt and his partner Jade have four little children, all under the age of five years old. He is self-employed, and does't have a lot of money - living week by week and was the main income provider for the family.

After four days in hospital, Mr Hall passed away on the evening of Saturday, 10th of February, leaving his behind his parter. Jade Jade to try and fend for themselves.

The community is being asked to support Jade and her children at this time and a 'Go-Fund-Me' page has been set to help the family. Any donations are appreciated to help help with this family's needs, whilst they deal with this traumatic experience.

Donations can be made via the go fund me page.

So far, $3500 has been raised to help the family.
